This summer approx 100 cyclists will rode 200 kms over two days through Greater Victoria, Cowichan Valley, and Salt Spring Island–all while raising awareness and money for hospice care. Acacia Health has sponsored Cycle of Life Tour since the beginning, and our very own Graham Robertson, RMT founded the event and organized it with his wife until 2016.
This year, Acacia Health had an awesome team riding and fundraising. We’re called the Krebs Cyclers, and we raised over $5,000 for the Cycle of Life Tour. Thank you everyone for your support and we look forward to you help next year when we raise the (handle)bar on how much we can raise and the impact we have on the comminuty.

Stay tuned next spring for our 2023 effort for Cycle of Life Tour. Follow our Facebook & Instagram accounts for updates and news.
Hospice care, also known as palliative care, is end-of-life support. Available resources vary based on your community. The Victoria Hospice has an 18-bed in-patient unit at the Royal Jubilee Hospital. They offer a Palliative Response Team for 24 hour short-term crisis consultation and treatment in the community. There are also bereavement and grief counselling services for those in care and their loved ones. For more information on hospice care and the Victoria Hospice, click here.
