Chronic and persistent pain can be complex. It can take time to uncover the reasons for your symptoms.

When people seek treatment for persistent pain, they have often seen many clinicians and specialists or had medical imaging done to find the cause of their pain. Some people get surgical treatments to address their persistent pain. When you still have pain, it can leave you feeling lost, hopeless or broken. Don’t give up.

No. Medical imaging can be a helpful tool to have, but it’s usually not required for the treatment of your pain.

Sometimes receiving your imaging report without proper explanation of the results and help understanding the implications can create a lot of confusion or misunderstanding of what is going on in your body.

Probably, this depends on your health insurance coverage.

We will bill for your specific practitioner visits, such as physiotherapy or massage therapy, and you will need to understand your policy to know what you have coverage for, and how much.
