Neuro-acupuncture integrates traditional acupuncture with modern neurological understanding to effectively target and stimulate healing in the nervous system. It is grounded in the most recent evidence on neuroplasticity and brain-area function.
When an area of the brain associated with motor or sensory function is stimulated through neuro-acupuncture, your brain can be prompted to make new connections. These connections recruit your surrounding neurons to create new pathways and improve or restore impaired abilities.
A neuro-acupuncturist can help you if you have:
- Nervous system pain or dysfunction
- Post-concussion syndrome
- Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Chemotherapy-induced neuropathy
- Peripheral neuropathy
- Migraines
- Trigeminal neuralgia
- Post herpetic neuralgia (shingles pain)
- Bell’s palsy
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson’s disease

Initial appointment: About 75 minutes
At your first appointment your neuro-acupuncturist will:
- Listen to your concerns and health history
- Do an in-depth assessment of your neurological condition
- Provide treatment
Neuro-acupuncture needles are tiny, single-use needles that are barely noticeable once inserted. They stimulate a healing and regulating effect.
You may feel a momentary pinch or tingling sensation that subsides in a few seconds. We make sure you are comfortable at each step.
The needles are left in place for 15 to 20 minutes. During this time and following the treatment most people feel a deep sense of relaxation
Follow-up appointments: About 50 minutes
