Massage Therapist Wanted

JOB POSTING • Feb 19, 2020

Part/Full-Time Massage Therapist in Private Practice in Victoria BC

We have two locations in Vic West offering naturopathic medicine, chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage therapy, athletic and osteopathic manual therapy, acupuncture, kinesiology, clinical counselling, and holistic nutrition. All our RMTs are fully booked and one of them is sadly moving out of Victoria, so we’re looking replace her (ideally with a clone, or non-evil doppelganger).

At Acacia, we strive to create a healthy environment for patients, staff, and the world around us. Our clinics are built with green materials and adhere to high standards in environmental construction. We take an active role in our community, supporting local charities (Cycle of Life Tour, MS Walk, Family Naturopathic Clinic) and volunteering in the community (HeadWay Victoria Epilepsy & Parkinson’s Centre). We’re looking for someone who works well in a team environment, and is excited to collaborate with other practitioners in professional development, and can toss a gauntlet in the ring for the best friday afternoon high-5s.

Areas of special interest an asset:

Full-time reception, online booking, direct-billing, EMR (paperless charting), electric lift tables, onsite laundry, open 6-days/week. We have very low practitioner turnover, and a positive friendly team. Our Acacia Health Westside location was built in 2016 as an orthopaedic-focused clinic with a bright & open concept, gym, generous private rooms, communal practitioner area, staff room, and ample patient parking. Everything is included for the practitioners with the rent.

Working Saturday is an asset with this position.

We believe strongly in a healthy balance of work and life, and provide competitive rent structures that are fair for both the practitioner and the clinic.

Start dates: Spring 2020
