- We reduce, reuse, and recycle, and do our best to do so in that order
- Our cotton sheets are 30% smaller in order to reduce the detergent and water used for laundry. Teaming up with The Soap Exchange, the soap we use is very eco-friendly
- The clinic is more than half way through converting to a paperless charting system for all practitioners, and the paper still used for progress notes is always 100% recycled bond. Our letterhead and business cards are printed on 100% recycled paper
- Our Dockside Green clinic location is nestled in the world’s greenest urban community. Synergy, our building, has been awarded LEED Platinum status, the highest honour awarded for sustainable building practices
- The staff rooms are set up for recycling all material, including compost, soft plastic, and styrofoam. We take out our garbage far less than recycling
- At our Dockside Green location, all water used by the toilet is recycled rainwater from around the development
- We painted our clinic in no-VOC or low-VOC paint throughout, and our treatment room doors are made with Douglas Fir — a local renewable resource.
- Our floors are polished concrete which reduces our heating and cooling costs, and limits the carbon footprint of our flooring. Polished concrete is hygienic, durable, and beautiful. Come see for yourself.
