Holistic Nutrition is a treatment method that works with the body. The human body is extremely intelligent, and when something is out of balance, it communicates to us in the form of signs and symptoms, both chronic and acute. Your nutritionist is here to help you interpret those signals to uncover what exactly the body is trying to say. From there, they will formulate a comprehensive and unique treatment plan to address those imbalances and bring the body back to it’s natural state of health.
Holistic Nutrition offers an active and sustainable approach to healthcare that uses evidence-based techniques for diet and lifestyle. Your nutritionist can help pinpoint imbalances and then work closely with you to restore optimal health.
The goal is to create a plan that is both attainable and sustainable, and that can only happen if you are offered a plan that fits into your life. Your nutritionist will set you up for success with recommendations that feel realistic, inspiring and accessible to you, and will provide on going support and resources to keep you moving forward as you progress and improve.
Each 60 or 90 minute initial consultation starts with a thorough intake of health and medical history, assessment of symptoms, a lifestyle and emotional evaluation, and basic physical examination techniques.
A 30 minute follow-up session will then be scheduled in which you will receive your comprehensive treatment plan. Your plan will include diet and lifestyle recommendations, food lists, educational resources, recipes, exercises and other resources deemed valuable by your practitioner. Additional appointments will be set up at the discretion of you and your nutritionist.
