Dr. Bayliss also has interest in prenatal health as she feels this is an unsupported area of health care and an early avenue for prevention of numerous health conditions across the lifespan.
Stephanie’s training spans the Pacific Northwest, where she has always called home. She has trained in Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle, Washington (Bastyr University) and in New Westminster, BC (Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine), where she graduated as a Naturopathic Doctor. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Psychology at the University of Victoria, where she also volunteered at the Centre for Autism Research, Technology and Education.
During her post-graduate medical training, Stephanie sought additional training as a Naturopathic Birth Doula and completed an internship at Positive Living BC, integrating pharmacological and naturopathic treatment protocols for individuals with HIV and chronic disease. Stephanie also completed an internship in rural Nicaragua with Natural Doctors International.
Stephanie enjoys the natural beauty and culture of Vancouver Island and the many activities afforded through living here. She especially enjoys exploring the ocean and mountains and is an avid runner and increasingly so, hiker.
