Peter Marley prides himself on having a friendly, patient-centred treatment approach. This is created by a motivation and enthusiasm for all things physio!
Before coming to Victoria in 2015, Peter was a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Nottingham University hospital, England. During his time there he studied and worked within many fascinating specialist teams including lower limb rehabilitation, spinal, shoulder and upper limb units as well as rheumatology and chronic pain. This environment has facilitated Peter’s keen interest in advancing diagnostic and treatment skills by keeping up to date with the latest clinical evidence.
Peter has followed his passion in Victoria, helping people suffering with chronic and persistent pain disorders. The ever-growing body of research in this area, such as advances in pain neuroscience have improved our ability to assess and treat these conditions, helping people get back to everyday life and function. He is a firm believer in the power of patient education as a central pillar to treatment success.
He has gained a wealth of experience working with elite athletes in numerous environments, treating professional football teams in the UK as well as short and long distance runners. He enjoys working with people to achieve the level of function they desire from their body. Alongside his treatments, Peter focuses significant time on advising for injury prevention.
