Gillian moved from the UK to Victoria in 2012. She has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist since 1998 and specialized in the field of persistent pain having worked extensively with spine and joint conditions, work-related injuries, performance arts and sports injuries and complex pain. She has enjoyed time overseas, including voluntary hospital work in the Himalayas and on the ski fields of New Zealand.
Gillian works one-on-one and ensures the adequate time to fully address a condition and its secondary effects on the body. Her manual treatments may involve various approaches to help maximize improvements. (See below).
Gillian is also a Certified Yoga teacher and provides Yoga for all levels of experience and a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher (MBSR), certified through the Center for Mindfulness, Massachusetts. Both methods may be integrated with Physiotherapy sessions where indicated.
